THE FOOT GUY

There's this guy that gets on the 4 a lot. He kind of gives me the creeps. He carries a big stick that I assume he is using as a cane. He is a big white guy that obviously has some mobility issues.

He put the icing on the cake of creepiness a while ago. He got on my bus and sat towards the front, like he usually does. All of us in the front were gabbing and having a pretty good time. As the big guy got off, he handed me a "business" card. It was offering a free foot massage! It gave his name and phone number and had a picture of a foot on it. Maybe it's just me, but it said "serial killer" all over it...in my mind.

I don't think I'll be calling that number!

I find this odd that he has a hard time walking, yet he massages feet.

Also, since I figured out I have to be signed in (works slightly better) If you can drive a bus in Minneapolis, this guy doesn't have a chance.

Dale - too funny, I hadn't thought of that. He does walk but who knows...I'm thinking foot fetish.

You are absolutely right...he has no chance here. He will never know what color toenail polish I have on. Hehehe.

Thanks for reading and leaving comments. You rock.(By the way, nice truck. Is it yours or is it "borrowed" like the convertible Mercedes I got my pic taken next to once.

I have had 2 prank calls from some guy who calls random business phone numbers in Minneapolis asking, "If I were an inch tall and in your shoe, what would you do?" No matter what answer you give, he has a response and goes on to ask questions like, "what would you be wearing on your feet?", etc. VERY CREEPY! So, yeah, I get what you mean...

That is the truck from Local 120. That is about as close to driving it as I will ever get. Keep writing, reminds me of when I grew up in North Minneapolis. Nothing has changed.

HEY!! My comment didn't show up...I'll write it again.

Sassy - Yep, there are a lot of nuts out there. Some days I think they ALL ride my bus. Like they just WAIT for mine or something!

Dale - Still, a nice truck. I plan to keep writing as long as characters keep getting on my bus and providing me with the material. Could be a very long time!!

I have a feeling you will never have a shortage of good material.

Dale - I agree. In fact, I've had people tell me I should write a book. I think a movie or series like the old sitcom "taxi" would be do-able. Who knows. For now, I'll stick with the blogs.

Purse - EWWW - I hate the name "red". You shall be forgiven... this time. My feet are naturally cute. They don't need a massage. Thanks, anyway. ;) I'll be warning Albert Lea that you will be there. I'll also be bringing my fellow Roadeo Princesses to make sure you behave. Should be a good time!

I'm *not* the creepy guy you described but Jeez! I have a foot fetish too but I'm not out to hurt anyone. I don't blame anyone for being cautious... letting a stranger in your house or going to a stranger's house is a *bad* idea. Sounds like his approach needs work. I've written a book myself and I hand out business cards to promote it (no mention of feet though). It's titled The Conscience of a Communist and will be available at this link as of 2 January 2009. Have a nice day and hope to see you on the bus again!
