WHAT WERE THEY FILMING?
Does anyone know what they were filming Thursday late night to Friday morning at 57th and Lyndale avenue south? Looked like they took over one of those sleazy hotels and put a new name on it for whatever they were doing.

The Coen brothers have been filming a movie around MN, could have been them.
Last week they had the 3500 block of Hennepin closed one day for three hours, diverting the 6 line down Holmes. Maybe the same deal?
Yep - I think it was the brothers. I saw their tents up for the last day celebration over in St Louis Park when I was pulling out on the 17 line. It was on the news. I'm sure both the hotel and hennepin deals were for that. Now I'll have to see the movie!
