WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED ON AUGUST 6TH??
I was just noticing on my tracker that I had 522 visitors to this site on August 6th. How the heck did that happen! I don't normally get out of the double digits on any particular day. I have noticed quite a few visitors from various transit systems throughout the country (WELCOME!). I just find it awesome (literally-the shock and awe type) that there were that many people here in one day. There were a hundred sixty something the next day...where did you all come from?
Hope you enjoy the site and come back for more! It's great to see you!

Hi Jeanne,
I featured your post "He remembers me" in the Aug. 6 issue of my weekly email newsletter, Transit Intelligence, which likely explains the traffic bump. If you'd like to see that particular issue, here's the link: http://archive.constantcontact.com/fs065/1101838178946/archive/1102198461686.html
Thanks for providing such interesting reading.
Best,
Steve
TJ - Of course I remember you!! You didn't have your name on that comment so I didn't know it was you.
How could I forget the guy that showed me 2 new drinks...the fuzzy screw-up was the best.
Hope to see you in Albert Lea...in the meantime, let me know if you are ever in Minneapolis and I'll see if we can get some of "Hecklers Row" to go hang out...teach us more drinks!
Steve,
I'll have to take a look at it...thanks. How did you find my site? I'm always curious how people find my little spot on the HUGE world of web.
steve, I tried the link you sent and it said I was "forbidden" to go there. What the heck?? I haven't been "forbidden" to do what I wanted for decades, I'm feeling like a little kid about to be grounded! Any other way I can see your newsletter?
Jeanne,
Sorry, I don't know why the link didn't work. You can also get to the newsletter archives by visiting my website at www.TransitTalent.com. There's a box at the bottom of the left-hand column that says "Free E-Newsletters." Just click on the "E-Newsletter Archive" link. Hope that works for you.
In regard to how I found your blog. . . I don't really remember. I'm glad I did, though!
Thanks.
Steve
Steve - I'll give that a try. Thanks. Glad to see yours wasn't a one time visit! Welcome back. Hope you enjoy my blogs!
